Denise THOW Obituary

Peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Golden View Care, Cromwell, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of 60 years of the late Glenn, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Dee and Peter Heenan (Invercargill), Natalie and Bernie O'Leary (Dunedin), Martin and Luz, and the late Suzanne (Perth and Málaga, Spain), Brendan and Mandy Wardell (Alexandra), Andrea and Callum Winchester (Sydney), Rachel and Ross Avis (Alexandra). Proud and much loved Grandma of her 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care of Denise from all the staff at Golden View Care.

Treasured memories always

Requiem Mass to celebrate Denise's life will be held in St John the Baptist Church, Killarney Street, Alexandra, on Friday, December 6 at 11.00am, then leaving for Alexandra Cemetery. Rosary to be held in the church on Thursday, December 5 at 7.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations kindly accepted at the service for the Neurological Foundation of NZ. Messages to 80 Ashworth Street, Alexandra 9320.

I have a lifetime of happy memories of Denny, and know that she is now peacefully with her beloved Glenn and other family members.
To Dee, Nat, Martin, Brendan, Andrea and Rachel and spouses, partners and families: our deepest condolences and loving thoughts at this bittersweet time. I am so sorry we won´t be back in NZ in time to share in the reverent celebration of Denny´s life, but please know our prayers and thoughts are with you. RIP Denny - you brought such joy and positivity to the world.
