It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Del at his home in the mountains (LA), on December 25, 2021. Del was a dearly loved and loving fiance and soulmate, of Jenny Raffaelli (LA). Loved and loving step-dad and granddad of Kayla Raffaelli, Uriell Mendoza, Nixon Mendoza (LA); Lauren Raffaelli (LA). Dearly loved and loving son, son-in-law and loveable rogue of Gladys and Stewart* Roff (Invercargill), and Charles Soliah (LA). Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Cheryl and Peter Meldrum (Invercargill), Geoff and Kathy Roff (Melbourne), Julie and Richard Christie (Christchurch), Mandy and Brian Turner (Invercargill), Fiona and Gordon MacRae (Mossburn), Shelly and David Coutts (Invercargill), and Timothy and Karen Soliah (LA). Loved uncle and great-uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Loved nephew of all his aunties and uncles. A memorial service for Del will be held at a later date - a date to be advised.
