David Arthur SOLOMON

David SOLOMON Obituary

Of Waikuku Beach. Passed away peacefully after a long illness, on June 20, 2024; aged 71 years. Son of the late Arthur and Rena Solomon (Timaru) , loved husband of Karen Purchas, dearly loved father of Bridget, George, and Jane, and their partners, Simon, Meghan and Tim, and loved Pops/Grandy of Gus, Poppy and Charlie, Stella and Annie (Nova Scotia), and Zac (Melbourne). As per David's wishes, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. We would like to acknowledge the amazing team at Nurse Maude Care Home, and thank them sincerely for their love and care of David. We would also like to thank the Nephrology, Dialysis and Palliative Care Teams at Christchurch Hospital and St. John.

I know Waimataitai School was many many years ago, but I vividly remember David being a classmate, chats on the way out the school gates and being part of the Bull Rush teams in the playground. Condolences to your family and Rest in Peace David. It was good to know you.
