After a long battle, the family are sad to announce the passing of David Hugh (Barrie) McHaffie, of Gore (Formerly of Popotunoa, Clinton), on February 14, 2023. Dearly loved husband to the late Helen, father and father-in-law to Scott and Alison, Jeff and Tracey, Terry and Heidi, Paul and Nicole, and a proud grandad to his 11 grandchildren. Special thanks to all those involved with his care throughout the past 16 years.

In accordance with Barrie's wishes, a private service has been held. Barrie is finally reunited with Helen and at rest at Charlton Park Cemetery. Messages to 3 Kereru Lane, Gore 9710.
