David MCELREA Obituary
McELREA, David Miller:
Aged 82 years. Of Tapanui, formerly of Edievale and Lake Hawea. (Peacefully) on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in the special care of all the staff at Peacehaven, Invercargill and Ribbonwood, Tapanui. Dearly loved husband and friend of Maire for 55 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Mike and Tash (Edievale), Vanessa Noble (Murchison). Loved and respected Pop to Sean and Emily; Hine, and Travis, Tyler and Shaylee, Logan, Eden and Jack. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jim* and Barbara* McElrea, Beth and Bill* Strang, June Swaney. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews, and friend to many.

Love leaves a memory
no one can steal".
A service to celebrate David's life will be held in the Heriot Community Centre on Tuesday, May 25 at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left at the service for West Otago Health. Messages to Flat 3 Ribbonwood, 50 Tapanui Raes Junction Highway, Tapanui 9522.

I am sorry I cannot attend the farwell of David today. My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of David. I have some happy memories of David and the family so I thank him for these.
