Dave BLACK Obituary

Jude, Todd, Elyse along with their families wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our our amazing friends, extended family, funeral attendees, especially those that travelled long distances to be with us and work associates for their overwhelming love and support through the sudden loss of Dave. As a family we are humbled by the support as this has come in so many different forms, visits, baking/meals, flowers, phone calls, text messages and emails. Our sincere thanks goes to the onsite help by the persons who were first at the scene to assist Dave as best they could, FENZ Crew, New Zealand Police and St John Ambulance. To Kelly for bringing Elyse safely to us on the day. Franks for your amazing afternoon tea, Graham from Southern Lakes Funerals for your guidance and care of Dave. Also thank you Scoop for your paper tribute. To Phil, Ron, Geoff ,Vince, Grant, Cole, Alan, Elyse, Murray, Gary and Hilton for their very difficult task on the day. You all did an amazing job and we will be forever grateful. You did him proud. Our thanks to the Wakatipu Rugby Club for your tribute and the use of the Rugby Club rooms also along with the Frankton Fishing Club members for your guard of honour. We are still finding it very difficult to believe that Dave has gone from our family. Please accept this as a personal acknowledgement and a sincere thank you from all of us.
