Sadly, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Invercargill. Dearly loved wife of the late Ian Christie, beloved mother of Frank Christie and fondly loved Nanny of all her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Daphne's life will be held in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 449 North Road, Invercargill, on Saturday, December 30, at 10.30am, the service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery.

Frank It was a delight to meet your Mother when she was a resident at Cargill rest home when my Mother moved there. She was thrilled to know we live on Osborne St Riverton. May she be at peace now. Regards Ann and Blair Hopcroft 4 Osborne St Riverton

Rip Daphne please accept our condolences for your Mum Frank as she was a very nice and loving lady put up with lot with us young bugger when you come home on leave from the navy few big notes and fun always stayed up with till we left many a great nite rip lovely lady she will be missed
