Dear Joan, Kate, Steve, Jo, Emma, Blair and families,
What a shock it was to hear of Uncle Danny's passing. I know he will be sorely missed by you all and his outgoing cheeky antics will become beloved memories told to the grandchildren for years to come. I enjoyed the visits to the farm in Balfour and then to Oturehua, and even when Uncle Danny tried every trick to tip us off the biscuit behind the boat. You're in our thoughts and prayers, much love, Sheree + Kerrin & family.

Dear Joan and family
We were very sad to hear that our cousin Danny had suddenly passed away. We have very fond memories of Danny while growing up on the farm in Balfour. In recent years we always looked forward to a visit, when he and Joan were in Perth. Danny was devoted to his family and will be sorely missed. RIP Danny
Sending our love and thoughts to you all.

I was very sad to hear of Danny's passing. My deepest sympathy i extend to Joan and the family. A lovely gentleman with a great wit and wonderful sense of humour, I enjoyed his company immensely. The kindness and hospitality he and Joan showed to me when i visited them on the farm at Balfour i will never forget. He will be sorely missed by all of us who were lucky enough to have met him during his stays over here in the Louth Bay / Port Lincoln area of South Australia. RIP Danny.

To Joan and family,
Our deepest and sincere condolence to you all.
It deeply deeply saddens me that I can not be with you all on Friday. But I am recovering from eye surgery and have to take things quietly for a week or two.
For those who don't know me, I am Danny's youngest sister by 9 years. I had his attention almost daily for 12 years and then on weekends for 4 years. He was a kind, patient big brother. Never rude, never mean or cruel. A positive fun loving influence on my up bring. As a child he played a lot of tricks on me,and as it has turned out my son "Dan" is the trickster in my family. When he phoned it was always a treat to hear his voice and I always thanked him for calling.
I would like to add a word of thanks to Joan for sticking out the hard time with Danny and for giving him 5 great children and many beautiful grandchildren. Joan you are a special girl. Thank you.
This week I have taken many deep breaths, tell myself to be strong, keep going and given words and thoughts of thanks for what I have and for those who have been good to me especially Danny.
If passing my door, drop in the kettles on , looking forward to seeing you.
Lots of love Corinda
