In her 97th year. On Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Gore Hospital. Wife of Alex* Mitchell, dearly loved and cherished wife of David* Messent. Devoted and cherished Mum and mother-in-law of Denise and Jim Breen, Peter* and Metra Messent, John and Margaret Messent, David Messent, Harry and Donna Messent, Sarah Ann*, Julie, Jimmy* Messent, Graeme Messent and Leana, Fiona and Julian Cools, Joan and Brian Cooper. Loved and cherished Muma and Grandma of her 26 grandchildren and her 36 great-grandchildren.
"Her love was not selfish, for others she lived,
Not for what she received, but for what she could give.
She had a smile for everyone, she had a heart of gold,
She left loving memories, our hearts will ever hold."
Privately Cremated. A Memorial Service for Daisy will be held in the Gore RSA Function Lounge, Bowler Avenue, Gore on Friday, October 26, at 11.00am, leaving thereafter for ashes interment at Mataura Cemetery. Messages to 79 Norton Street, Gore 9710. (*denotes deceased)

Thinking of you all in your time of sadness.
Butch and I will cherish our thoughts of dear Daisy forever. Her sparkling eyes, gentle smile and generous nature will always be held close to our hearts.
Daisy has left us with beautiful memories and an incredible zest of giving.
