Craig DOW Obituary
Unexpectedly in Queenstown on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Adored husband and best friend of Anna, treasured Daddy of Sophie and Emma. Loved son of Brian and Adele (Cromwell), son-in-law of Peter and Bridget McMurtrie (Fairlie), loved brother and brother-in-law of Scott and Katie (Geelong), Heidi and Sean (Christchurch), Jamie and Melissa (Fairlie), and fabulous Uncle of Macey, Pippa, Tom, Jemima, Daisy and Tilly. A celebration of Craig's amazing life will be held in Moonlight Stables, 69 Morven Ferry Road, Queenstown, on Friday, July 24, at 1.00pm. Special thanks to Queenstown Police and our new friend Hamish. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Wakatipu Greatest Needs Fund. Although I did not know Craig personally, I know how loved he was as a son in law to Bridget and Pete. My love and thoughts are with Anna and her girls, and all the extended family, who will miss Craig terribly.

Although we did not know Craig's family, we had the most phenomenal Property Manager in Craig. Authentic, genuine, honest and hard working - he was a rare find at the time for us. Because of who he was he attracted like minded people and as a leader created an impressive team. Thinking of your poor sad hearts at this time.

I worked with Craig many years ago on the Routeburn. Although I haven't been in touch with him for years I'm saddened to hear of his passing. He was a good man and I'm sure that legacy will live on through your girls. Arohanui

The world was a much better place for you being in it, Dowzer. As one who helped me through a tough first few months in NZ I will always be grateful.
