TESSIER, Maurice Joseph (Retired employee of General Motors Canada) - Peacefully passed away at home with family by his side on Friday August 31, 2018 in his 84th year. Dearly beloved husband of the late Lenora. Loving father of Michelle Sherwood (Rick) and Doug Tessier. Cherished grandpa of Olivia and Reese. Survived by his siblings Martin (Barb), Mai Ward (Carmen), Dorothy Melville (Chris), Hilda Lebel (late John), and predeceased by Cecil Wye (Clare) and Leo Tessier. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday September 7th, from 2:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
