just heard from cousin diana of colins passing . i remember him fondly as a child when i was in new plymouth living at the white hart hotel... so sad that all us cousins have lost touch , but sending you much love at this sad time . my sister heather outred died recently too , sally monks formerly outred

I have just learned of Colin's passing and am so sorry to hear of it. We were first cousins and I remember him as a very sunny child, who grew up to be a warm and lovely adult. Because I have lived in the UK for the last 50 years, I have had only a few opportunities to catch up with him - and you - but each time was special and rewarding. I send you my love and sympathy

Deepest sympathies on the very sad loss of Colin . I worked with Colin for a number of years at Southland district council a decent kiwi bloke who really cared about the safety of his fellow workers and we had some good rugby discussions . Vale, Colin .

I'm so sorry to read in the obituaries that Volin has passed away. I'm sorry that I can't be with you at this sad time but my thoughts are with you all at this time. Irene, James and Graeme he will be sadly missed.

Very sad to hear of the Death of Colin. He was a very solid member of Rugby Southland Referees,. I always bounced my ideas through Colin re refereeing and got some great fed back. He has coached a lot of members since he arrived from Taranaki. Colin was a guy you could really enjoy and he will be really missed in refereeing circles. Irene and family thanks for sharing him with us.
