Colin PHILLIPS Obituary

A very much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandad, Colin passed away in the care of Hospice Southland, with his loving family by his side on Tuesday evening. Betty, along with Susan and Dave Cameron, Joanne and Jeff Lang and Sharon and Les Watson wish to extend an invitation to attend the celebration of Colin's life on Friday 28th July at 2.00pm, in the Avenal Park Funeral Home Chapel. He will be sadly missed by all especially by his grandchildren Emma (deceased), Steven, Katie and Craig, Melissa, Alyse, and Shea, and great-grandchildren Caitlyn, and Fletcher. Although this is a sad time for all, and we have lost a true gentleman, our loving and time generous 'head' of our family unit and a friend and mentor to many, it is Colin's wishes for this to be a happy time with humor. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Loved son of Edward and Elizabeth Phillips and brother of his twelve siblings, Alf, Bert, Roy, Sid, Dick, Eddie, Russell, Ray, Billy, Lex, Thelma and Betty (all deceased) and their partners . Also loved son-in-law of Ernest and Jean Salton (deceased) and brother-in-law of Shona Raynes. Sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews.
