Peacefully with family by his side and in the tender care of the staff at Peacehaven. Dearly loved husband of Joan for 63 years. Loved and treasured father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather of Ross and Anna (Invercargill), Ryan*, Tyler, Krystal, Olivia and Isla (Invercargill), and Dion, Charissa and Joey McLean (Invercargill), Annabelle (Invercargill), Maree, Chris, Tyce, Joel and Indie Bell (Invercargill), Brent and Halley Thompson (Christchurch), and Mark, Jess and Maddie Thompson (Christchurch). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Evan and Joy McLean (Wanaka), Noelene* and Raymond* Carston, Roy and Norma Reid (Mossburn), and John and Kathleen Reid (Lochiel). A family service has been held.
