Of Tawa, Wellington. On 10 October 2024, peacefully at Wellington Regional Hospital, aged 80 years. Dearly loved Daughter of William Edward Thomson and Eileen Mary Thomson (née Crowe). Loved Sister of Annette McWha. Treasured Aunty of Caroline and Gavin Hazelden and Richard McWha. Great-Aunty of Melanie and Danielle. I first met Bev as head librarian in the Department of Health, Head Office, when I started working there in 1972. Again, I knew her when she was chief librarian at ESR, where I worked in the 1990s.

Bev was unfailingly kind and helpful, always going out of her way to find reference sources that I needed! I regarded her as a friend and will always remember her in the best possible way!

Thinking of you all at this sad time. We have known Bev since moving across the road from her. She was a wonderful neighbour and was always involved in the streets activities. She will be sadly missed. RIP Bev.
