NZ 44826 RNZAF. Aged 98 years, in the care of Rose Lodge. Dearly loved husband of the late Doreen (nee Leary). Loved father of Jennifer, Olive, Isabelle, Leslie, and their partners. Treasured Grandfather of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Rose Lodge for their care of Charles. A service to celebrate Charles' life will be held in the Lindisfarne Community Church, 22 Lindisfarne Street, Invercargill, on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 2.00pm. I still remember trips down the south coast with Charles, Doreen and Leslie and the great times we had. Charles was such a lovely person and Leslie was a great friend. Wish our paths had crossed more often but that's what happens as we spread our wings.
