Charles Daniel (Charlie):
Peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Mayfair Rest Home, Christchurch. Aged 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Doreen. Loved father and father-in-law of Charles, the late Ian and Tracy, Mark and Kath (Christchurch). Loved Grandad and Great-Grandad. A service for Charlie will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 2.00pm. Due to Covid 19 regulations on gatherings, attendance is by invitation only. It was very sad to hear of Charlie's passing. He was a good friend to Mum over the years (Hazel) and was always just a phone call away whenever she needed help with something. We had a lot of laughs with Charlie over cups of tea at mums. Charlie was a real trooper in his outdoor sports. He will be missed.

I will remember always stopping to offer Charlie a ride in the car on his way to town or home to Otatara but no he was always happy walking. He was a dear friend to our late mother Dorothy Larby. RIp peace Charlie
