Catherine SMITH Obituary

Peacefully in Cromwell, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, exactly one month before her 93rd birthday. Dearly loved wife of the late Doug Smith, much loved mother of Yvonne (Kaka Point), John and Vanessa (Clyde), Heather (Geelong), and the late Jennifer stillborn 1959, beloved Nana of Daniel and Tahnee (Warrnambool), Peter and Bex, Bryce and Ella, Aidan and Katie (Christchurch), Eden and Jasper (Geelong) and great Nana Alison of Quinn and Bern (Warrnambool). Our deep gratitude to all the staff and team at Golden View Care for the joy and compassion they brought to Alison in her short stay with them. A memorial service will be held in the Cromwell and Districts Presbyterian Church, 10 Elspeth Street, on Thursday, July 31, at 2.00pm, followed by afternoon tea. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cromwell St John. We encourage people at a distance to join us on the live stream www.centralotagofunerals.co.nz
