Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Southland Hospital on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Dearly loved wife of Bert Bell*, and Terry Smyth*. Dearly loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Dawn and David, Ken and Paula, and Ross and Robyna. Loved Grandma of William and Louise, Andrew, Stephanie and Bayden, Sarah and Hamish, Georgina and George, Richard*, Christine and Michael, and Hamish and Sarah. A proud Great-Grandma of Zia, George, Tom, Ellie, Stevie, Charlie, Billy, Harry, Jonty, Henry, Elsie, Oscar, Heidi, Lucy, and Molly. A Memorial Service to celebrate Catherine's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Wednesday, November 19, commencing at 1.00pm. My deepest sympathy to the bell family Fond memories of cath with the horses. I remember cindi so wanted a pony and we rang cath who was only too happy to oblige. Goldie was a beautiful pony and cindi had lots of enjoyment from her.
