With great sadness Kez, Sathera, and Benson wish to announce, after ten long months of fighting, Brenden peacefully passed away. He fought a hard battle, on his own terms, and never gave up right until the end. He was a much loved husband and best friend to Kez for 17 years, and a loving Dad to his children; Sathera and Benson. Beloved son of Mervette and Lewis, and Bill and Debbie. Loved by all his siblings, nieces, and nephews. He was great mates with his many cousins and had loyal friends who he considered family. Brenden will be laying at home at 73 Rimu Street, Invercargill, until his service which will be held at Avenal Park Funeral Home Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 11.00am, a private cremation will follow. Sending our deepest sympathy and kindest thoughts to Brenden's family.
We have many fond memories of a young lively Brenden, growing up in York street and at St George school.
I feel priviledged that he made himself known to me two Christmases ago while taking the grandchildren to view xmas lights@his house. Such joy he has bought to many.
