Bernard Bryce (Bernie):
(of Alexandra), passed away peacefully on December 22, 2018, at Dunstan Hospital, aged 87.
Now with his Lord.
Dearly loved husband and best friend of Helen; much loved father and father-in-law of David and Caroline, Christine and Neil, Deirdre and Garry, and Hamish and Rachelle; best grandad ever of Elliot, Sam, Rebecca, Ben, Luke, Ruby and William; oldest brother of Warwick, the late Gerald and Robert, and cherished step-brother of Suzanne. A service to celebrate Bernie's life will be held at St Enoch's Church, Alexandra, at 1.30pm on Saturday, December 29, followed by a private cremation. Messages to 1 Lanes Road, Bridge Hill, Alexandra 9320. Special thanks to the wonderful, caring staff of Dunstan Hospital and Dunedin Public Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations please to Dunstan Hospital and St John Ambulance.

Helen and Family, so sorry we are not able to be with you on Saturday. We have the fondest memories of Uncle Bernie from our childhood visitors to the Willows. Will never forget cheeky good nature and quick smile. All our love, Tracey Wood and Karen Flett xx
