TIMPANY, Basil Herbert:






Vicki, Warren and all of the Family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the expressions of love and support we received after the passing of our much loved Dad, grandad, great-grandad and great-great-grandad Baz. To those who attended Basils funeral, and especially those who travelled long distances, also the beautiful floral tributes, cards and messages, baking, visits, phone calls were all very comforting at this sad time. A special thanks to Basil's two nieces Virginia Murray for playing the organ so beautifully and also to Bronwyn Beker for the RSA tribute, it was very humbling. We have since received Dad's medals that had not been collected – very special. To Peter Noble for conducting such a fitting service for Dad. It didn't take him long to get Basil's number and he add his own little twist – just the right man for the job Peter – thank you. To the wonderful, caring staff from Salisbury Wing at Rowena Jackson, you are truly exceptional in all that you do. Thank you for caring for Dad and being there for him when we couldn't during Covid, you all went above and beyond for your residents, for which we are truly grateful.
To Donna and the team at Avenal Park Funeral Home – Thank you for your love and guidance during this very difficult time and assisting in any way you could to make our wishes possible. I am sure Baz will love being wrapped in his farm and sheep. Also to Tim and the Grandchildren for the amazing tribute to Grandad , it was very powerful and sincere, he would be very proud of you all. Please accept this as a personal acknowledgement from us all.
