On 4 January, 2016, suddenly but peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital, Masterton. Cherished husband of Lois. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Carrie and Malcolm, Barry and Elizabeth, Owen, James and Maree. Loved Granddad of Peter and Nic, Megan, Sophie and Asher. Barrie and Lois were our neighbours for more than 33 years. Always friendly, helpful and neighbourly in the best of ways, Barrie was consistent and pleasant in the way he lived, managed his garden, looked after his family and property. Barrie was exemplary, thoughtful and kind as he attended to the health and social needs for Lois. He was a lovely, highly regarded neighbour. Remembered, with respect, Margaret Rogers
