Barry BEMROSE Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Ranui Rest Home, on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Loved son of the late Vincent and Amelia Bemrose. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Raewyn and Dave Sutherland, the late Ian Bemrose, Jocelyn Clark, Kristeen and Lindsay Buckingham. Loved uncle of Melanie and Bruce Avery, Craig and Julie Sutherland (all of England), Kim and Craig Phillips (Australia), Rebecca and Campbell Nicol (Ashburton), Jamie Clark and Zippy, Tim and Ling Buckingham, Claire Buckingham, Jo Buckingham and Isham Redford, Alan and Vikki Buckingham. Great family memories over the years. Inserted by the Invercargill families.

Very saddened to hear of the passing of my dear old mate today. Will never forget the great times we had together at Edenview Methodist Church Bible Class camps and at Dunedin Teachers College way back in the early 1960's. My deepest sympathy to all his family and friends.

It is with much sadness I have heard of Barry's passing. He was a special guy with special qualities. I met him through playing the Ukulele and enjoyed his friendship for many years.
