Having grown up in the Te Ureweras , where the bush and rivers are entwined with my life .
I see it as a fitting memorial , to have native trees planted in this little lady´s memory .
One each for her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and myself.
Once you stood like a totara tree
Proud and noble strong and free .....

Auntie Barbara, God answered your prayers.
You were mum's friend and Nana Duncan's for many years. The love and support and the kindness you always showed will never be forgotten. I know you'll now be in good hands, and the love from others passed. You'll all be watching and waiting till we see you again. Lots of love from Raquel, and myself Glenn Rae. Our favourite postie, you never changed in our hearts or minds. loving and always steadfast in your beliefs.

Will never forget those Saturday mornings at Nana´s when Aunty Barbara would ride in from her morning post to have a cup of tea and pikelets. Wonderful lady with amazing stories and life.
Big hugs to Lizette and family.
