Avis KINGSLAND Obituary

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Avis on February 1, 2025, in her 84th year. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Ken for 60 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Lisa and Tony Clarke, Sandra and Kelvin Busbridge, and Kathryn Gray. Loved Nan of Daniel and Kirsten; Tobey, Gabrielle and Jorja; Sam, Ethan and Ruby. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Gwenda and Allan McKenzie, and Betty and the late Athol Wills. Thanks to Dr Diane Young and the staff at Radius Millstream for their care and support during the last weeks of her life. Messages to the Kingsland Family, PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740. A memorial service to celebrate Avis' life will be held at our Chapel, cnr East and Cox Streets, Ashburton, on Wednesday, February 5, commencing at 11.00am.

Deepest sympathy in the very sad loss of Avis. I have many memories of Avis from being neighbours in our teens, her bridesmaid 58 years ago and many more over the years. Memories are precious.
