(nee Jackson):
Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Sunday, 31 December 2017, aged 82 years. A loving and devoted wife of Ian, and the late Ross Dickison. Mother and mother-in-law of Brian Dickison (Waikaka), Susan and Grant McDonald (Cromwell), Lloyd Dickison (Wanganui), Callum and Kirsten Dickison (Auckland) and Athol Dickison (Masterton). A loved friend of Susan and Peter Dale, Russell and Alexa McClintock and Wendy and Peter Henderson (All of Riversdale). Devoted and loving Gran to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved daughter of the late Reverend Monty and Ella Jackson, loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Coral and George Mangan, Jean and the late Bill McKee (Riversdale). A service to celebrate Averil's life will be held in Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore on Thursday, 4 January 2018, at 1.30pm. Private cremation to follow.
