Philip KINGAN Obituary

Loved and respected colleague and friend to the team at John Rhind Funeral Directors, both past and present. Phil possessed the important qualities of care and compassion for his family, friends, colleagues, and the many bereaved families he helped over his 40 years at Rhinds. His wit and great sense of humour, along with his genuine kindness made him a joy to work with, and he will be forever remembered and greatly missed.

Rest in Peace Phil.

So very sorry to hear of Philip's passing. The Kingan family and the van Uden families were very close in the 1950's, we all grew up together, great times exploring Scarborough. Rest in peace Phil.
With Love from Barry & Eleanor van Uden.

Rest in love Phil. You were a kind, generous man and you did everything with heart.I had the utmost respect for you in your role and more often than not you went above and beyond to help others. Fond memories of our trip to akaroa marae together and how you tolerated my country music and singing. You will be missed.

I worked with Phil at Rhinds. Working with Phil as his assistant was always very special, there was nothing he would not do for his customers. A quite exceptional man.
