E te tama, te teina, te hoa rakatira, te hākoro, te whanauka, moe mai, moe mai, okioki atu. Tragically taken as the result of a traffic accident in Brisbane. Loved husband and friend of Sally, deeply loved and admired Dad of Rhys and Sophia (Brisbane). Dearly loved and cherished son of Gavin and Raewynne, loved brother and brother-in-law and uncle of Tane and Kate and Kahu. Special grandson of Cam Reid*, Garnet and GranEve Evans*. Respected son-in-law of Mandy and Colin Whiteside (Pontypool, Wales) and brother-in-law of Grant and Sian (England). Special and treasured cousin and nephew.

A Memorial Service for Ariki will be held at a future date in NZ. Messages to 6 Villiers Street, Arrowtown.
