I first met Archie and June 44 years ago when Archie and I worked for DB. He was the most wonderful, kind and generous man. Years onward June and Archie welcomed us into their home for a short stay and made us feel so welcome. A big man with a big heart - Archie - rest in peace my dearest - see you on the other side. Archie was one of my favorite people!! I loved his jokes over the years! His cheeky fun personality was infectious, he was kind and patient. he was a great lunch buddy. His strength was admirable!
I'm so sad to hear of his passing, we were well overdue a lunch catchup.

I'm sorry to Peter and all the family, he will be well and truly missed

It was so lovely to catch up with Uncle Archie in January when I was down. It´s a very sad time knowing he has now passed, and I´m thinking of everyone at this time. There is comfort in knowing he´s at peace. Uncle Archie missed June and David greatly, and it´s a nice thought that they´re now reunited-along with his siblings Fraser and Marilyn. Can you imagine the stories he´ll be telling!!

I´m so sorry I won´t be at the funeral tomorrow, but I´ll be thinking of all everyone including Peter, Michelle and family, and Uncle Archie´s sisters, Dawn and Elspeth and all of the extended family and Archie´s huge number of friends. I´m sure it will be a fabulous send off.

So sorry to hear of Archie´s passing. Archie drove the secondary school bus once every six weeks. He told us many stories. He still reminded me of those days. He was always wonder down at the to the club when he stopped playing. Rest in Peace with your beloved June.
