Antonius Hermanus (Tonnie):
Peacefully at home with family on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 23.23pm, aged 79 years. Loved rock of Erna for 52 years, father of Anja, Michael and Yahanna, Uan and Marie-Louise, loved Opa of Henry, Amelia, Jacob, Riley, Livia, Mareo, and Neava. Brother of Dini* (CA), Jan (NL), Theo*, Herman*, Wim, Hendriks* (NL), Annie* (NL), Marten, Hank, Reit, (Tonnie), Betsie D, Jos. A bold visionary who trod his own path and did things his way, right to the end. Never worked a day in his life as he loved his work. His last days full of tears, sweat and laughter with family by his side. Memorial, April 29, 2023, location to be advised in Queenstown. We were very sorry to hear of the passing of Tonnie.
Dad has passed on stories of his incomparable work ethic, tremendous ingenuity, and wonderful sense of humor.
A mention of a clock with 12 photos of siblings to tell the time, was a favourite.
Our sincere condolences to Erna and family. Undoubtedly, he will be sorely missed.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Tony, I've known him since I was a kid, and can still hear his distinctive voice in my head. He was a true Queenstown legend who with his Erina, left an indelible mark in Queenstown's history.
His plumbing art will remain as a reminder of his quirky talents and refusal to stay inside the square.
My deepest condolences to his family who will be dealing with a huge hole in their lives.

We met Tonnie and Erna in 1994 while travelling the South Island. Ever since that time staying at Creeksyde was the highlight of our annual trip to the South Island. This was because of the support and friendship we had with Tonnie and Erna. We always looked forward to seeing Tonnie’s new creations at the Park and getting together for a coffee and meals. Our thoughts are with Erna and family at this difficult time. Love from Jan, Els and Tippi .

It with much sadness I write in the passing of Tonni. I have many memories of family times together, his sense of humor and his love of Erna and his family.
His can-do attitude was what him the special person he was.
He will be missed but will always be in your hearts and thoughts.

Alice and I will miss our visits to Creeksyde Erna. Tonnie's imaginative designs were fun and Erna was doing her best to promote Queenstown. I apologise for causing a minor earthquake when I blessed the camp a few years ago.
