Andrew CARR Obituary

We regretfully announce the sudden death of the irreplaceable Andrew James Lauchlan Carr ,who passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the age of 46 years old. We will sorely miss this amazing, quick-witted, kindhearted, loyal, loving man who meant the world to all of us. Husband, best friend, soulmate, 'her everything' to Sarah, and amazing father to Angus, Isabella, and Maxwell. Much loved son of Norman and Margaret Carr. Cherished brother of Julie Blackwell, and Pip Roycroft. Loved son-in-law of Judi and the late Donald Grant. Loved brother-in-law of Dean Blackwell, Wynne Roycroft, Cath Grant and the late Hayden Baker, Louise and Daniel Bowie, and the late Ginny Grant. Beloved Ice-cream King and amazing uncle to his nephews and nieces Tim, Ben, Alice, Josie, Olive, Ella, Tom, Olivia, Lucia, George, and Lucy. Messages to: The Carr family, c/- PO Box 6035, Ashburton 7742. Donations to the Canterbury Westpac Helicopter would be appreciated and may be made at the service. There will be a ceremony to honour and commemorate the life of Trucky at the Hotel Ashburton, 35 Racecourse Road, Ashburton on Saturday, April 13, 2024 commencing at 1.00pm. Followed by private cremation.
