Alyson Laurell (Laurell):
Died peacefully, at Strathallan Life Care, Timaru, on Sunday, April 17, 2022, aged 94. Dearly loved and loving wife of Robert (Bob)*, adored mother and mother-in-law of Stewart and Marilyn (Hamilton), Alyson and John Howell (Wellington), Graeme and Julia (Dunedin), Evan and Tricia (Invercargill), and Kathryn and Roger Patterson (Timaru); cherished Nana of Toni and Richard, Michael and Noelle, and Paul and TJ; Natalie and Alasdair, and Evan; Stephen and Lisa, Rebecca*, Alice and Jeremy, and Jeremy and Louise; Hannah and Nick; Mark and Jannah, James and Paisley, and Tom and Leena; and loved Great-Nana of her 23.5 great-grandchildren. Laurell was the loved daughter of Wyn* and Alice* Jackson, and loved sister and sister-in-law of Frank* and Christine*; Wensley* and Mavis* and Barbara*; and Jennifer and Jim Smith (Ranfurly). Laurell was also the loved sister-in-law of Dave* and Jean*; Jim* and Thelma*; and Alex* and Valda*; and the loved aunty of her nieces and nephews, A service for Laurell will be held at Trinity Church, College Rd, Timaru, on Wednesday, May 4, at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. A special thanks to Laurell's Strathallan and Highfield Rest Homes supportive carers over the past 7 years. Messages to 168 Douglas Street, Timaru 7910.

I have many pleasant memories of Laurell and will miss visiting her. She was always so appreciative of visits. We had some great chats.
