STREEKSTRA,
Althea Ethel:
of Alexandra. On Saturday, 29 August, 2015, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Ranui Hospital, Alexandra; aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of Klaas for nearly 63 years, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Jane and Neill Blackmore (Roslyn Bush), Paul and Lisa (Auckland), Lynne and Andrew Doubleday (Christchurch), and much loved Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Althea's life will be held in St Enochs Church, Centennial Avenue, Alexandra (Please note change of venue) at 11.00am on Tuesday. 1 September, followed by interment in the Alexandra Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance (Alexandra Area) would be appreciated and may be left at the Church. Messages to Streekstra Family, 46C Brandon Street, Alexandra 9320.

Hallo. My name is Rinske Dawson. Althea and Klaas were my neighbours in Morton Mains. Am sorry to read she passed away. I have very fond memories of her. She got me out of the house and took me Womans Division. Kind regards Rinske Dawson
