Alma BLAIKIE Obituary

Passed away peacefully as the sun rose and the birds sang on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Mossbrae Lifecare, Mosgiel; in her 85th year. Cherished wife of Keith*, loved mother and mother-in-law of Frances (Mosgiel), Victor and Amy (Clinton), Eric and Kirstin (Australia), dearly loved Nana of Joshua and Caitlyn, and Grandma Alma of Hannah and Matthew, loved sister and sister-in-law of Esme Moore, Ron* and Judith* Moore, John* and Marilyn* Moore, Allan* and Isabel Moore, Lesley* and Margaret Moore, Tom* and Cynthia Moore, Ian* Moore, Elizabeth Moore, Alastair and Sue* Blaikie (Melbourne), and Ailsa* and Graham* Dennis (Melbourne), a much-loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Neurosurgery and Oncology at Dunedin Hospital for giving Alma quality extra time, and to the staff at Mossbrae for their compassionate care of Alma in her final weeks. A Memorial Service to remember and celebrate Alma's life will be held in Campbell and Sons Chapel, 95 Gordon Road, Mosgiel, at 2.00pm on Thursday, October 24.
