Allen DEAN Obituary

DEAN, Allen John. - Peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice on June 1, 2014. Aged 71 years. Dearly loved husband and friend of Liz; and loved father and father-in-law of Jason and Vanessa (Christchurch); Sarah and Craig Johnson (Perth); and Hamish and Camille (Los Angeles). Cherished grandpop of Oliver, Lachie, and Georgia; Sawyer, Curtis, and Leroy; and Charlie. In accordance with Allen's wishes, his body has been bequeathed to Medical Research. A Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. No flowers please but donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Liz, Jason, Sarah and Hamish, we are deeply saddened to hear of Allen's passing. He was always welcoming, loving, and interested in what ever we were doing. He was never short of kind words of encouragement for our children. His ideas and enthusiasm were, and always will be remembered. Allen was one of those friends who took up where we left off, even if we had not seen him for long periods of time. We will miss him but never forget him. Brenda, David, Lachlan, Alice and Jack
