WINTER, Alister James:
Passed away peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2018; aged 87 years, in the care of Rowena Jackson Rest Home. Dearly loved husband of the late Sylvia, loved father and father-in-law of Ann and John Rawlinson, Ray and Trish, Jeremy and Raewyn, and the late Sharon, loved and adored Grandad of Christopher, and Richard; Jamie, Troy, and the late Sally; Kerstin, and Rodney; Caleb, Matthew, and Shaun, and a much loved great-Grandad. A service to celebrate Alister's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Thursday, September 20, at 1.00pm, private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donation to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 136 Gimblett Street, Invercargill.

Grandad
I will never forget all our little trips you used to take us on. the bushwalks, camping at cromwell or even just showing us the places that were special to you. you were never one for saying alot but u didnet need to be u were always kind and had a smile for us love you grandad rest easy
