Alexander THOMSON Obituary

The Simpsons from the Manse all have such fond memories of Alex and Rosie. The Thomsons were our second Riverton family - the fireworks nights, watching TV in the dark, hearing Alex's van pull up in the driveway we knew it was time to go home for tea, learning to ride a bike at the Thomsons, walking to school and waving to Alex in the shop......... RIP my friend. Many a laugh had over the years and many a whisky taken. You can't fly on one wing!! A great source of information and help to me in my years as Secretary of the Golf Club. I loved our conversations about all sports you were always sharp as a tack. You and Rosie showed our family so much kindness and we will always cherish that. Fly high my friend. Slainte!

Fond memories of Alec,Rosie,Anne and Allan.Great neighbours and friends of the Simpsons.Remembered as a kind and caring man with a smile .i was privileged to still have a welcome in your home.

Sorry to hear of Alex's passing, condolences to all.

It was precious to see these 2 chatting together this year at the end of February. Dad will miss him dearly (as Mum missed Rosie). He would love to be there as they have been great life-long friends who have had many holidays and laughs together.
