Sandy was a special, brave, genuinely good person.
I took him to Queenstown hospital
last time he was down this way.
We had motorhoming as a shared lifestyle, and had many chats regarding cancer, that we both had.,
I´ve been trying to contact him, and have only just found this sad news.
The world was a nicer place with Sandy in it, and I will miss him.

You gave it your all to fight that horrible disease and you put up a brave front. You are out of pain. Great catching up with you when you came to see me. Lots of love Sally

So sorry to hear of the passing of Sandy. He put up a good fight. I Knew him well from our Invercargill days. I had the pleasure of spending a couple of weeks with him earlier this year. I knew him as an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to spend time with. Sincere condolences and all the best to Sandy's family.

Very very sorry to hear of the passing of Sandy. I new him when we were carpenters at Marsden Point Oil Refinery expansion in the 80's. Saw him once after that at Invercargill. I remember him as a great guy and a pleasure to spend time with. Sincere condolences and all the best to Sandy's family.
