Alastair HAMILTON Obituary

Of Mosgiel (formerly of Dunedin and Five Rivers). Peacefully at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital, on Thursday, August 24, 2023; in his 89th year. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Joan, loved and treasured father and father-in-law of Andrew and Barbara, Billy and Karen, Mary and Barry. Proud and deeply loved Grandpa of Abbey, and Laura Hamilton; Rory, Connor, and Morgan Hamilton; Sean, George, and William Brosnan. Dearly loved son of George*and Mary* Hamilton, and Margaret* (Nonie), loved brother and brother In-law of John* and June Hamilton, Bruce* and Dorothy* Hamilton, Mhari* and Tom* Robbie. Loved uncle of his nieces and nephews. (* donates deceased) Special thanks to the staff at Montecillo for their loving care. A service for Alastair will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 1.30pm on Thursday August 31, the funeral then leaving for Dunedin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations for St John Ambulance - Taieri Area would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
