(Wendon) – Unexpectedly, at Gore Hospital, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, aged 68 years. Loved partner of the late Emily* Hoani. Loved Dad of Diane Waddell, and stepfather of Justine. Dearly loved son of Les* and Amy (Gore), cherished brother and brother-in-law of Basil and Stephanie, Karen and David, Heather and Lofty, Colin and Leigh, Graham and Jo. Loved by all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Alan's life will be held at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Saturday, June 14, at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Charlton Park Cemetery, and light refreshments at the Gore T&C thereafter.
