I have only just found out that Airdry has passed away. I lived on Stewart Island from 1988 to 1992. Airdry played a very special part in my life during that time. I played a significant roll in the Catholic faith on Stewart Island. There were times when we joined our two faiths for some special events etc. I also had some rough times in my own life. Airdry was always there for me and I was always very grateful for the special love that she showed myself and my son. I certainly hope her family see this message and realized that their are two people in Greymouth will have very fond memories of a wonderful lady.

I had the pleasure of meeting you Glenn on the Intercity bus. Travelling from Invercargill to Christchurch. You talked of your sad reason to be in Invercargill.
Loosing your Mum no matter how prepared you are, it is still very painful.
Thinking of you and your family at this time.
Sincere condolences.
Pauline. (Fellow passenger)
