Agnes DOBBIE Obituary

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on June 1, 2024; aged 97. Loved wife of the late Jim. Treasured mother of Allison, Margie, Lorraine, and Hazel. Adored grandmother of Callan, Alana, Katie, Lauren, Theo and Lizzie and great-grandmother of Luca, Spencer and the late Jordyn. Loved sister of Lesley (dec), Allan, Hugh, Rosalie, and John (dec). Mum was born October 13, 1926, in Wyndham. She was a farmer, church elder, a stalwart of the Red Cross and NCW, Brownie leader, cook, Waimate District councillor, and a keen swimmer. Our thanks to Dr Sarah Creegan and the team at Lister House for their kindness and care. A service to celebrate Nancy's life will be at Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 8, at 11.00am, followed by burial at the Waimate Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Red Cross would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A delayed stream of the service is available, please email- [email protected] or call on 6862148.
