Murray DOWNS Obituary
On January 6, 2026, at Redwood Lifestyle Care, Blenheim, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Christobel (Chris) for 58 adventurous years. Loved and proud father and father-in-law of Stuart (deceased) and Ruth, and Sandra and Gary Eckstein. Very proud Grandad of Alex, Amy, David and Ella and Ari. Loved son of Harold and Marjorie and brother of Ross and Karen (all deceased). Deepest gratitude goes to all the staff at Redwood Lifestyle Care for their professionalism, respectful care and support. In accordance with Murray's wishes, a private cremation has been held. His ashes will be interred with his son at a later date.
