HOPPS, Ronald. In loving memory of Ronald Albert Hopps who passed away peacefully on Tuesday 8th October, aged 86 years. Much loved husband of Dorothy and loved father to Neil (dec) and Honey, Marshall and Katrina, Bevan and Kerrie, Duncan and Kelly, Delwyn and Marcus. Step-father to Dyan and Zac, and Paul and Amerillis. Grandad to Taala, Komene, Wetini, Mollie, Kyle, Levi, Devin, Tanga and Kobe. Great grandad to Savannah, Hudson, Blair, Mia, Theo, Oakley, Marley and Archie. Grandad Hoppie to Dean and Jake. A local character who will be greatly missed by his family and those in the automotive trade. The family would like to thank those who offered their support and kindness during Ron's brief illness. I remember Ronald when he used to look after my late Aunty Mary's car and how he was so considerate to what was needed to be done.. Thanks for your care over the years and also looking after my car when I lived in Gisborne.
