972845 16th Intake CMT Unexpectedly, at his home, Mataura. Dearly loved husband of the late Joyce. Much loved father and father-in-law of Rex and Pamela (Brisbane), Joy and Tony Gilder (Gore), Wayne and Teresa (Mataura), Trevor and Karen (Mataura), Helen and David McFadzien (Ferndale), and cherished Grandad of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved son of Andrew* and Mary* Vass. Loved elder brother of William* Vass. A loved brother-in-law and Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A private service for Bert will be held in the Mataura Community Centre, McQueen Avenue, on Saturday, June 6, at 1.30pm, then leaving for the Mataura Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be left at the service for the NZ Heart Foundation. Bert's service will be live-streamed https://livestream.com/accounts/ 72885/albertvass For those who wish to pay their respects Bert will be resting at home until his service.
