Louise !
Know that Mike was a unique human being, my dear friend for decades ! His work in Brazil was outstanding!

I shall never forget my friend,colleague of so many courses, in Brasil .

Mike and Louise acted as inspirational and kind mentors as I weathered my early years on Ivey faculty. Teaching me to write cases and coaxing me to engage with PMAC made a difference in ways that none of us could have imagined throughout my global career. I only wish that I could have come back to give thanks in person. God bless.

l spent many wonderful hours with Mike playing bridge.He was a great friend and professional colleague .My sincere condolences to Louise and family.

Will be deeply missed. I had the pleasure of being educated by Professors Leenders while attending the 1997 PMAC week long live in course. A tremendous experience that I´ve never forgotten. His passion and teachings truly laid the groundwork for what has become an amazing career for me in both private and public sector procurement.

I have fond memories of prof Mike Leenders as the ultimate gentleman professor at our IPSERA conferences. Delighted to learn about the Dutch traditions such as poems with gifts and oliebollen. Will add these to my memories of him.

With gratitude and great memories I took notice of the sad news about professor Mike.
In 1996 I participated in his purchasing classes at Ivey business school. He was already a legend in his area of expertise and challenged us with his great stories and business cases. He has inspired me and many others to continue a career in the supply chain. He had probably already foreseen long time ago how much impact the profession could have on a sustainable society... I will continue to inspire others in his memory. Thank you Mike.

My condolences to Louise and the entire family. I enjoyed my discussions with Mike in his office at the round kitchen table.

I have lots of wonderful memories of working with Mike to bring the case workshops that he ran with his wife Louise and Jim Erskine to Europe in the late 1990s - a collaboration that endured for many years. It was always a privilege to watch him in the classroom - I often wished I'd been one of his students at Ivey. Generations of case teachers and writers have benefitted from his guidance and expertise and he truly changed the landscape of how we understand the case method today. He will be sadly missed and I send my condolences to Louise and his family and friends.

I had the privilege of being a student of Dr Leenders. He was one of the best and most influential teachers I ever had. He was a special teacher. My condolences to his family.

Mike you were a special one, lucky to have many sweet memories of your personal and professional kindness and generosity. Rest in peace.

Thank you Michiel Leenders for all the impact you have made on many students like myself. You encouraged me to speak up and ask questions and I have carried that with me through my career.

I am sorry to hear this news. I met Mike and Louise when we ran case workshops together with The Case Centre in Europe (15 in total) and visited some great Business Schools and venues together. Was always great to have his presence in both the classroom and on social dinners. He listened, respected others, made you feel confident in your work. Thanks Mike. Dr. Mike Leenders was an outstanding business school professor. He was a brilliant academic and a fine gentleman. I remember his sessions with great fondness, especially his purchasing game. May he rest in peace.
