CRAIG, Laurence Boyd (Boyd). - On Thursday, July 17, 2014, finally at peace, in his 81st year, loved fourth child of the late Laurence and Arete Craig (formerly of Onslow Street, Gore), a loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Audrey and Vic Thacker (Gore), Roy (deceased) and Alison (Waikanae), Keith and Ailsa (Riverton), and Bill and Barbara (Gore). Loved uncle and great-uncle of all his nieces and nephews. As per Boyd's wishes a private service has been held at the Harewood Crematorium Chapel, Christchurch, on Monday, July 21. Messages may be sent to c/- PO Box 29190, Fendalton, Christchurch 8540.

Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Boyd.
I remember him well in Te Anau working on the James McKerrow and especially playing the piano at the dances in the old Te Anau hall in the 1950s,with Robbie Robb on the saxaphone and George Radford on the drums. They were great times.

CRAIG, Laurence Boyd. — On Thursday, July 17, 2014, with his beloved niece Kerry by his side, dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Keith and Ailsa (Riverton), and a very special uncle of Kerry and Ross Jenkins (Christchurch), Michael and Dianne (Invercargill). Treasured Gub (Great-Uncle Boyd) of Kristi and her partner Tom; Mitchell, Lochie and Ashleigh, and soon to be great-great-uncle Boyd, of Kristi and Tom’s “Peanut”, so named by him. You will be sadly missed in our lives, loved and remembered forever.
