To June and all the Moody family - we send you our sincere condolences in Alex's recent sudden "call Home". It was all so unexpected. But we know that through this time of change the Lord is enabling you to adjust to life ahead. We have many fine memories of Alex as a loyal friend, as a warm-hearted co-servant, and as a member of our wider family circle. The fruit of his dedicated life, lives on in farm and family; also in the Lord's work in Aotearoa and overseas. We much appreciated the thanksgiving service for Alex. Our love and prayers remain with June and you all.

I am sad that Alex has passed away. We were good friends in our Kelso days. In fact we were the only two boys at Kelso Sunday School lots of Sundays. I used to walk from the school house and Alex used to bike from the farm. He had a flash bike with gears!!! My thoughts go to all the family members' but I think only you June will remember me. The last time being the Kelso School jubilee. regards Jim Turner

I have a half a life of memories with Alex. For two people so different, we bonded on our similarities, (kindness, humour and wit.) June and Alex are a wonderful example on how to thrive in a loving, productive, supportive relationship. The memory that I'll treasure most about Alex is when we both told each other everything we needed to say, with love, compassion and forgiveness, many years ago. This allowed us to continue to have a loving friendship, to the very end. That's the kind of man he was. Positive, kind, humble, strong and so funny. Love you Alex. Love you June. Much love and strength to his large family that he treasured so much. You've inherited his strengths. Aroha nui
